other than quark, nog & perhaps a rom figure but I don't really care enough to buy one of his ... I wouldn't really want any of the supporting cast in this and most cases Well.. maybe some ... like the main bad guys & ones like general martok or how ever you spell his name ... I'd say they would be big enough to get figures and were more than just supporting cast though really

I'm up for a ... lets call the shaved head modern & one with hair first appearance FA ... anyways I'm up for a modern sisko as well my self & I would love both a nog in star fleet uniform , & quark as well ... Jake I'm not so sure about ... Would depend on the look of the figure & what he came with

I'd buy them all regardless. It is a shame it is unlikely DST will get to many of the supporting cast as they generally didn't wear Starfleet Uniforms (Nog/Rom/Garek/Dukat/Winn/Keiko/Leeta/Kasidy/Damar)

Well...Nog did. But he can't really use the Sisko body!

They could get a bit of use out of a Cardassian mold. I mentioned elsewhere they may be able to create Leeta from parts of Seven of Nine. Her legs & arms atleast. A Nog body could also be used for a season 1 Wesley & perhaps Picard from Rascals.

Talk about waking up to bad news! The thing is, I had a feeling all of this would happen.

Oh well, I knew I was behind the 8 ball being a DS9 fan to begin with. At least I got SOME figures.

I'd imagine a lot of things DST say in that regard are simply so people don't get their hopes up.

Further sets for Voyager & DS9 likely rely on the sales of the first few sets. I can't see DS9 selling too badly, it mainly seems to be Voyager DST are unsure of. They stated due to the lack of demand for other Enterprise merchandise (I think it was an Archer bust), they highly doubted they would make any of that crew.

I believe Rick from Newforce Comics said the Trek product is selling better in general now they are limiting the production runs for each set.

I think in order to even sell he would have to come with some pretty fancy accessory's for other figures ... Or even be stuck in a two pack with nog for the same price since they are both little figures I want a DEFIANT ship as well my self! I'm just itching for them to do some kind of build a station ds9 as well but it will never happen heh!

ah to show off my signed sisko photo or not hmmm

You are not alone!

DS9 has been gaining an almost cult like following. I don't know if it's Ron Moore's Battlestar, or Spike Tv re-running episodes, but I keep hearing more possitive reviews. Many people gave up on the show after the first 2 seasons, which I agree are a little slow, but by season 3 this show was bangin'!

To me DS9 had the best characterization of all the ST shows, not just the core crew, but more the characters like Quark, Garak, Gul Dukat, Leeta, and Rom. Even Vic Fontaine entertained me in the more laid back episodes.

Also the war was everything a TNG fan always wanted, but blue screening could not provide. To me it was awesome, and I loved every minute of this show. It really felt like this show had a coheasive direction and ended on a great note.

Too me this show surpassed ST:TNG, as sacriligious as that may sound.

ON TO THE TOYS...

I'm happy to see that DS9 gets some figures, but if they don't make some a Quark, Garak or Gul Dukat I'll be pretty ticked. It sucks if they don't make the "Voyager" style uniform figures also but I think they'll make it out eventually.

I just hope that they make a DEFIANT in the ship line, cause that is one tough little ship!

Or a DS9 that has a bunch of little ships that can dock around it, that would be awesome.

It is likely that DS9 will be receiving much the same treatment. No Bajoran uniform Kira is a bad sign to start with (And she's using the Ezri body!!). Not too sure if we'll see Quark any time soon. Definately doubt we'll see Jake.

DST are really only into Classic Trek because it is all the sells apparently.

Sad but true.

DST actually stated in a Q&A the other day that they would not be making a full Voyager crew, imaginably just those they can make with existing molds (besides Seven ofcourse, I'm sure we'll see plenty of her!).

Well....not so sad if you are mainly a Classic fan!

Personally I am more into the other series.

Add me to the list that are wondering...

I was set to get the 'colored uniform' versions of the figs, and yet it seems they were held back. At $15 or so a pop, I seriously hope DST is not planning on pulling a fast one and waiting until we all have bought the 'Nemisis uniform' versions and then releasing the season 3 deco versions. After seeing Worf, though, that's all I can think. On their website's forum, I remember reading they wanted each group to have a signature uniform (TOS, TNG, etc) and it would seem that DS9 would be the Nemisis style so that Voyager could go the colored shoulder style. But they did NOT say they would NOT release DS9 in the same uniform later.

In regards to the season 1-3 Sisko and Dax I'm with you on that. We saw the prototypes, where are the figures? I want them especially since they are releasing a Worf in that uniform with the upcoming two pack with his brother.

I agree with all of your other very good points ESPECIALLY the fact we are getting Kira in SF uniform and not major Bajoran uniform. In fact I completely forgot she was part of the next wave until your post because I was left completely unsatisfied with the SF uniform version we were offered.

In regards to wave three I'm positive there will be one. Why not? They never implied there won't. I'm sure we'll see Quark in that wave. Hopefully Dukat and Jake too.
