#StarWars #TheLastJedi Has 2nd Highest Opening Preview With $45M+

Star Wars now claims the top two highest openings with The Last Jedi taking in $45 million in Thursday previews; The Force Awakens holds the top slot with $57M in 2015. Last year's Rogue One took in $29M in the same time period. "Last Jedi's IMAX previews generated an estimated $5.3 million, in line with Force Awakens’ Thursday opening IMAX record of $5.37 million." 'The film is predicted to reach $425M+ globally for it's first weekend($200M domestic).; During their theatrical runs, 2016's Rogue One reached $1.1 billion ($532.1 million domestic) and 2015's The Force Awakens hit 2.1 billion globally.
