Star Wars: The Black Series Archive Collection Wave 3 Images And Pre-Order Info

Jay Cochran - December 10, 2020
Hasbro's Star Wars: The Black Series Archive Collection Wave 3 figure are now available for pre-order from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.

These archive figures have photoreal deco and premium design, so fans and collectors can expand and enhance their Star Wars collections with the Star Wars 6-inch-scale figures. The wave includes Empire Strikes Back Hoth Luke, Empire Strikes Back Hoth Han (Brown Coat), Revenge of the Sith Commander Cody and Grand Admiral Thrawn which we think there is a good chance we will be seeing more of in the Star Wars Universe. Look for these to start shipping next month.

The improvements on the Luke and Han figures are obvious. I already have a Thrawn figure and the only obvious improvement this one has over the older release that I can see is the eyebrows. Gonna need to see this blue bastard in person or at least some in-hand reviews before I decide if it's a figure worth getting.

I agree, I really love The Mandalorian, I'm glad we are getting figures from the show but they are still a lot of characters from the other movies and stuff that I want made. I dont really know how the Archive series works in the context of budget and wave placing, but it's a good way to bring back figures that are difficult to get or in need of a redo.

Isnt this only the 3rd Archive wave? So it seems a little random but maybe it will happen a little more often. That rouge 1 wave definitely needs the face print updates too

Qui Gon needs to be redone. A few months ago, I would have said it will happen sooner than later. Thenwith all the new Mandalorian love and new shows listed seems like we might have a lot of new characters to be made before more Archive waves.

I want them all. I wish they would've given Hoth Han wrist joints though.

I'll probably pick up Luke and maybe Thrawn, I wish the figure wasn't based on his Rebels look. I would have much rather Qui Gon won the fan vote but I guess people can't get enough clones.

And like that my preorder list at bbts grows longer. Nice to finally get Cody at retail.
