The Chewbacca/3PO backpack 2pack. This box, well to put as delicately as I can, this box was my fucking NEMESIS. We cursed, we fought, we yelled, and we went to bed angry. When you are dealing with reference from the original trilogy, things can get, well....hairy. There’s just not a lot of good reference for this sort of thing. So you have to pull screengrabs directly from the film and kind of just interpret blurry action shots. It’s a process that can work for you, because you have a little room for just making it work. It can also work against you because NO ONE knows exactly how it should be. Everyone is guessing at what the inside of C3P0’s legs look like. It’s just a weird cloud of wires, it looks like a Brillo pad that just up and sneezed. So I just made it up, and then someone else who also didn’t know, gave me revisions on the stuff we collectively had no idea about. The exact revision I got was “Your wires look like worms.” I couldn’t argue with that, because those two things, well they look pretty similar. My Chewbacca wasn’t hairy enough, so I added more hairs to all his hairs. It was a messy process. All in all there are two full versions of this piece, one horrible rejected garbage fire with Chewy out front, and then this one, which got approved, despite a balding chewy and all the worms everywhere. Chewy and I though, we’re still friends after all that, he knows he gets his hair done right with me. He looks fresh from the shop for all the Wookie ladies. I also threw in a shot of the pencil stage on this one, which I did on a few sheets of copy paper scotch taped together, yknow, like a professional.

Would have preferred if this was $10 cheaper but I might pick it up anyway; also I know it's not accurate to the movie or scene but it would have been nice if they included the Bowcaster.
