Yeah, Adamle wasn't anywhere near as bad as a lot of people were expecting, but he really needs to start playing the role like he really believes in it and not like he's reading lines (as was said). I get the idea that he's playing the role like he wants to be everyone's friend, but he's making the heel decisions and thus becoming a heel himself.

That tag title reign idea has been used in wrestling since the beginning of time. Remember the Frank Gotch-Georg Hackenschmidt title reign from 1906? It's not just WWE that has overused that stale idea... it's the entire industry.

Thats a good one @loll@ .

I dont know though , there was a looooong time span when you would have never seen two current rivals hold the tag-team belts (WWF or otherwise) , that is until the WWE "Attitude era" made it almost commonplace .

Even if the two opponents for the upcoming pay-per-view dont happen to win tag-team gold , they are forced to team up as the main event on RAW quite regularly : Another of WWEs lame and VERY overused storylines .

As for Adamle, I enjoyed the 2-on-1 handicap match (because my boy, the Wrestling GOD, picked up the win, lol). But, I hate how he was practically reading his lines while on stage... like he has no memory at all, lol. I did love how he compared himself to Ronald Reagan though... funny.

I just hope that the Santino-Beth Phoenix deal doesn't land them both the Women's title and the IC belt at SummerSlam. I know they are pushing Beth as the more feminine Chyna. But, neither of them deserve the IC title. And, personally, Mickie James is the best Women's Champ the business has had since Trish Stratus. I'd rather see Beth and Santino doing their own thing while Mickie feuds with Katie Lea (and a newly heel Candice Michelle when she returns... b/c a heel turn would do her wonders). As for Kofi and the IC strap, let him continue getting over while eventually feuding with guys like Cade, Paul Burchill, Regal, and guys of that nature.

Am I the only one that saw Cena and Batista winning the tag titles coming a mile away? Now we'll get the old "they don't like each other but have to work with eachother because they're tag champs" routine. Wait didn't Cena just do this with Michaels a year or so ago or is my memory going out on me?

Its almost as if WWE has gotten to the point were they only have X amount of storylines that they rehash every few months or so . Damn , and I thought Freddie Prinze Jr. might bring some originality to the table .

Wonder if they still want to fire Adamle? I'll give the guy credit for that 2 on 1 handicap match.
