Iron Studios releases a statue of the Sith Lord apprentice of Darth Sidious in the 1/4 scale!

Bespin refugee - May 27, 2022

Sent by his master Darth Sidious to the barren planet Tatooine with the mission of eliminating Queen Amidala and the two Jedi Knights, protectors of the ruler from planet Naboo, the mortal and agile Sith Lord with yellow eyes and red tattooed face under a crown of horns, wielding his double-bladed Lightsaber and wearing his dark cloak fluttering on the desert winds, gets ready to face one of his targets, after getting the location of his target’s whereabouts from his Probe Droid next to him. In the month of May, commemorating the Star Wars saga, Iron Studios proudly present their statue "Darth Maul - Star Wars - Legacy Replica 1/4", with his most iconic look just like on his unforgettable premiere in the movies in "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace", one of the most beloved Star Wars villains for the first time in this scale by Iron Studios, fiercely and intriguingly represented as the greatest Zabrak warrior from Dathomir.

Native from the planet Dathomir, Maul was welcomed by the Dark Lord Darth Sidious as his Sith apprentice. A very acrobatic warrior, trained to be relentless against his enemies, he learned to use a double-bladed lightsaber and became thirsty for revenge against the Jedi Order. Released by his Master around Tatooine, he sent his Probe Droids to search for the Jedi and Queen Amidala’s ship, and after locating the ship on the Dune Sea, Maul ambushed and faced a Jedi Master for the first time in a duel against Qui-Gon Jinn, but wasn’t able to achieve his goal. Later, Maul waited for Amidala in Naboo, where he once again dueled Qui-Gon, this time winning against the Jedi Master, but then while facing the young apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, Maul was defeated having his body cut in half and falling to the planet’s core, apparently dead. Thanks to his great popularity among fans, Darth Maul survived focusing on his hate for Obi-Wan, and after being found and rescued by his brother Savage Opress, Maul resurfaced and recovered on his home planet. After getting involved in other conflicts, participating in big battles, and in the rise of the Galactic Empire, Maul started to command the Crimson Dawn, a criminal organization.

Praised by Star Wars fans all around the world, Darth Maul got a new chance, being brought back from certain death, and gained even more prominence in the saga’s canon of a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. His 1/4 statue in the Legacy Replica line joins the series of statues that have the release of other iconic characters like “Darth Vader Ep V, Kylo Ren EP VII, Master Yoda”, and more recently "The Mandalorian and The Child" and "Grogu" derivative of the Star Wars spin-off series on Disney+ The Mandalorian. Presented on the monthly show Inside Iron Studios Day on YouTube, on the same day of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series’ premiere on Disney+ and already available for Pre-Order, check out also the statue "Cad Bane - The Book of Boba Fett - Art Scale 1/10", another great villain from Star Wars and rival of Obi-Wan just like Darth Maul.
